Ricotta Cheese And Chocolate Swirl Squares
- 1 7/8 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 vanilla bean seeds scraped and set aside
- 2 tablespoons cocoa bittersweet
- 1 butter
- 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
- powdered sugar
- Preheat the oven to 170C.
- Beat the eggs with the sugar for 3 minutes with an electric mixer.
- Incorporate the ricotta cheese completely, add the vanilla seeds and the flour and continue mixing.
- Butter a square cake pan measuring approximately 20 x 20 centimeters and then coat it with the breadcrumbs, eliminate any excess.
- Pour 2/3 of the mixture into the cake pan and add the cocoa to the remaining mixture, stirring well.
- Pour the chocolate mixture on top of the plain mixture and use a fork to make the swirls in the two mixtures.
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the oven, let cool completely, cut into squares and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
