Shepherd'S Pie
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (15 oz.) can corn
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) tomato soup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. hot mashed potatoes
- Crumble ground beef and onion, microwave on High 4 to 6 minutes or until meat loses its pink color.
- Drain.
- Stir in soup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
- Spread evenly in a casserole dish.
- Spread corn on top of meat mixture.
- Spoon mounds of potatoes over corn.
- Microwave 5 to 7 minutes or until casserole is hot.
- Top with cheese.
- Microwave 2 to 3 1/2 minutes until cheese melts, rotating dish after half of cooking time.
- Let stand 3 minutes before serving.
- Yields 4 to 6 servings.
- Cooking time: 17 minutes.
