Goulasch
- 1 beef kilo, cubed
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 onions large, diced, approximately 600 grams
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika spicy, powder
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon bouillon
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 1/8 cups beer dark
- 2 1/8 cups beef broth
- 2 carrots diced
- 2 potatoes large, diced
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano

- Place the oil and butter into a pan and saute the onion and garlic on medium heat for approximately 3 minutes, until soft. Add the paprika powders, tomato paste, sugar and bouillon. Once mixed well, add the tbsp. flour. Mix well.
- Add the beer and the broth, allow to boil and then lower the heat to low. Simmer on low heat, covered, for approximately 5 minutes.
- Add the carrots and the potatoes. Season the meat with a tbsp. of salt and a little pepper and add it to the pan. Also add the bay leaves, cumin and oregano.
- Leave simmering, covered, for approximately 1 1/2 hours until all the ingredients are well-incorporated and the meat is softened.
- Serve each bowl with a tbsp. of sour cream and a piece of bread.
