Chocolate Cheesecake
- pie crust ready made
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cups philadelphia cream cheese
- 9/16 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
- 5 1/2 tablespoons hazelnuts crushed
- Start by heating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Roll the pie crust out on baking paper and prick it with a fork so that it breathes during baking. Set it aside.
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
- Whisk the yolks well, mixed with the sugar.
- Add the cream cheese, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and hazlenuts to the egg yolks and sugar and whisk again. Set the mix aside.
- Whisk the egg whites until they peak, then gently mix in rest of the batter and stir carefully with a spoon from the bottom to up.
- Pour the filling into the pie crust and bake it in the oven for about 35 minutes or until it is cooked.
- Remove, take it out of the tin, and serve cold.
