Teriyaki Salmon

  1. In a saucepan, add the honey, water, lemon juice, soy sauce, and ginger. Bring to the boil and simmer 3 minutes. Remove from heat and pour into a container large enough to hold the salmon.
  2. Once the marinade has cooled, add the salmon making sure it is completely coated and refrigerate 1 whole day.
  3. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
  4. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  5. Transfer the salmon skin-side up to the baking tray and bake 15 to 20 minutes. Do not discard the marinade.
  6. Pour the marinade into a saucepan and simmer on low heat until the sauce has reduced and thickened.
  7. Serve the salmon with the sauce on top and sprinkled with cilantro and sesame seeds.
