Summer Salad

  1. Mix the milk with the yogurt in a bowl and refrigerate overnight. (Skip this step if using buttermilk.)
  2. Cut the bread into bite-sized pieces and place into a salad bowl.
  3. Cover with the milk and yogurt mixture and stir.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients.
  5. Season with salt and leave to rest for 10 minutes for the flavors to infuse.
