Forbidden Rice + Pork Ramen
- 14 1/2 ounces beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 10 ounces rice noodles forbidden
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 pound pork shoulder shredded
- 1 bunch green onion green parts only
- mushrooms I cup trumpet, sliced thinly
- 2 soft-boiled eggs sliced length-wise
- 1/2 cup kimchi *optional
- 1 fresno pepper sliced *optional
- Cook pork shoulder in crock pot for 8-10 hours on low
- Shred pork and sautee cooked pork in sesame oil over high heat for 5 minutes
- In a saucepan simmer beef broth, soy sauce, and fish sauce for 10 minutes
- Immerse rice noodles in hot water for 10 minutes, drain
- Pour broth into each bowl
- Add noodles, onion, sliced mushrooms, shredded pork, and egg halves to each bowl
- Top with condiments, including kimchi and/or fresno pepper
