Popcorn
- popcorn Organic
- coconut oil
- salt
- paprika
- Heat coconut oil in a large pot over medium heat. Drop the popcorn kernels into the hot oil and place a lid on the pot. Cook the popcorn, shaking pot back and forth over burner, until there are 1 to 2 seconds between pops, about 5 minutes.
- When you shake it, listen if there are almost no seeds rattling on the bottom of the pot. Don't let the popcorn stay too long on the flame or they will burn. When there are only 1-2 pops every few seconds, pour out the popped corn. If a lot are not popped yet, they can be put back into the pot right away and repopped.
- The best part - Seasoning: In the empty, warm pot just used for popcorn, add about 1-2 tbsp coconut oil and let it melt (no stove burner needed now). Add the popcorn, and with the lid closed, shake it all around, up and down. Add salt, pepper, and any other spices you want. I like to add paprika and hot chili flakes.
- Enjoy!!
