Asian Ground Beef With Sweet Chili Slaw

  1. Place green onion in a small bowl of iced water. Let stand for 10-15 minutes or until curled. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a wok or large frying pan over moderate heat. Add red onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened slightly. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up lumps, for 2-3 minutes or until browned. Add garlic and soy sauce. Remove from heat. Stir in sesame seeds.
  3. In a large bowl, combine carrot, cabbage, juice, chili sauce, chili, cilantro and beef mixture. Place lettuce on serving plates. Top with cabbage mixture. Top with green onion. Serve with extra sweet chilli sauce.
