Stewed Sausage And Beans
- olive oil
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 beef sausage smoked, sliced
- 1 pork sausage smoked, sliced
- 1 sausage black pudding, or blood sausage, sliced
- 2 slices bacon diced
- 1 1/2 kilograms broad beans
- 3 leek leaves green, chopped
- 1 sprig cilantro chopped
- 1 sprig mint chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 cup wine
- 1 cup water
- salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 tablespoon lard
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan and saute onion, garlic and bay leaves.
- Add sliced sausages and diced bacon.
- Simmer for a few minutes.
- Place mixture in a pressure cooker and add remaining ingredients.
- Tightly seal lid.
- Bring to a boil and cook for about 10 minutes, according to manufacturer's instructions.
