Freda'S Chicken Crescents
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 pkg. crescent rolls
- 1 can chicken or mushroom broth/soup
- 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. seasoned bread crumbs (optional)
- 4 oz. can mushrooms or fresh
- 1 Tbsp. chives
- 2 Tbsp. cooking sherry
- salt and pepper to taste
- Separate rolls into 8 triangles; spread each with a piece of cooked chicken.
- Place sliced mushrooms on each piece, smidgen of chives and pinch of lemon pepper.
- Roll up and seal pastry. Dip in melted butter (roll in bread crumbs, optional).
- Bake at 375u0b0 until golden brown.
- Place rest of chicken, chives, mushrooms and lemon pepper in broth and heat.
- Serve sauce over crispy baked chicken crescents.
- Serves 4.
