Steaks In Saucepan With Sweet Potato
- 1 onion medium / large, thin slices
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tomato ripe, chopped
- 1/2 red pepper chopped
- olive oil
- 800 grams steaks
- 4 sweet potatoes medium-sized, sliced
- salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- garlic powder
- 3 parsley leaves
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup water
- In a saucepan, place the onion, garlic, tomato, and pepper. Drizzle with a little olive oil, heat to a medium heat. Once it starts to boil, add the steaks, and cover with the potatoes. Flavor everything with a little salt, tomato paste, paprika, garlic powder, and parsley.
- Sprinkle again with a little olive oil and cover.
- When it starts boiling add the red wine and water.
- Cover again and simmer on low heat for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Serve.
