Coffee Flavored Panna Cotta

  1. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for 10 minutes and wring out the excess water.
  2. Brush the top of the mold with some melted dark chocolate and place the mold in the refrigerator to chill well.
  3. Place the heavy cream in a saucepan with the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and coffee, and heat the mixture while stirring.
  4. When the mixture begins to boil, turn off the heat and remove the saucepan from the stove.
  5. Add the gelatin sheets and stir well to incorporate.
  6. Pour the mixture in the mold.
  7. Refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours.
  8. Turn the panna cotta out onto a serving platter and garnish as you wish.
