Meat-Stuffed Peppers With Gorgonzola Sauce

  1. Start by sauteing together the garlic, onion, and leek.
  2. Once softened, add the ground beef and slowly simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Right before the beef finishes cooking, add the tomato sauce. Salt to taste.
  4. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  5. Once the filling has cooled, carefully stuff the peppers.
  6. For the sauce, in a saucepan set the heavy cream and gorgonzola cheese to melt on low heat.
  7. Plate the stuffed peppers with the sauce on top.
