Hobo Dinners Or Sunday School Specials
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 4 to 6 large carrots
- 2 large onions
- 4 large baking potatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- Tear off 4 large 14-inch squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Butter about 6 inches of it in the center.
- Cut potato in 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick slices and place on the center of each piece of foil (one potato for each piece).
- Cut carrot in 4-inch chunks and place on potato and onion, also.
- Sprinkle veggies with seasonings, making sure all is seasoned.
- Place salted ground chuck on top of all and fold foil over tightly.
- Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 300u0b0
- while you are at Sunday School or elsewhere.
- If you have long services, bake at 250u0b0.
- Ta-da! Dinner's ready when you get home.
