- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 6 bone-in pork chops or boneless pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
- 1 onions large, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1/4 cup dry white wine or beef broth
- 1 jar (1 lb. 8 oz.) Ragu(R) Old World Style(R) Pasta Sauce
- 1/2 cup ripe olives sliced, pitted
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon optional
- Heat olive oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat and brown chops; remove and set aside.
- Cook onion and garlic in same skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until onion is tender. Add wine and bring to a boil over high heat, scraping brown bits from bottom of skillet. Return pork to skillet and stir in Pasta Sauce and remaining ingredients.
- Simmer covered, stirring sauce occasionally, 20 minutes or until pork is done. Serve, if desired, over hot cooked rice and garnish with fresh rosemary and additional olives.
