Vietnamese Pork Meatball Baguette
- 3 carrots julienned
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 bell pepper julienned
- 300 grams pork meat ground
- 1 teaspoon dried basil ground
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 green onions finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce Valentina
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch

- The day before, mix the carrots, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Add the bell peppers the following day.
- Mix the meat with the rest of the ingredients. Wet your hands and make 2- to 3-centimeter meatballs.
- Spray cooking oil in a skillet and place over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs and cook until golden brown all over.
- Mix the ingredients together and set aside.
- Cut the bread open in half, spread the mayonnaise, add the lettuce, cilantro, meatballs, and pickled carrots. Serve with jalapeno peppers.
