Simple Oatmeal Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. Combine the three types of flour with the sugar and a pinch of baking soda or baking powder.
  3. Gradually add, by alternating them, the oil and the wine while kneading. If necessary, add more flour to the dough.
  4. Place some granulated sugar in a bowl.
  5. Cut the dough into pieces and shape each piece into a link, then bring the two ends of the link together in the shape of a ribbon, pinching to seal the cookies together.
  6. Dip only one side of each cookie into the bowl with the sugar to coat it.
  7. Place each cookie on a wax paper lined baking sheet, sugar-side up.
  8. Bake the cookies for 15 to 20 minutes.
  9. Remove the cookies from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
