Simple Sausage And Bell Pepper Penne

  1. In a pot of boiling salted water, boil penne as directed on package, or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large frying pan on medium heat, break up sausage pieces using a spatula. Cook the ground sausage until no longer pink, around 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add diced peppers, spinach and paprika, sauteing until peppers are tender and spinach is wilted (2-3 minutes).
  4. Add in cooked penne, salt, pepper and olive oil. Toss to coat.
  5. Garnish pasta with cheese, basil and hot sauce if desired.
