Fattoush Recipe

  1. Cut the pita bread into four pieces and split them in half with a scissor. Brush each piece with vegetable oil, drizzle the sumac powder and fry them in a large skillet over medium-high heat or toast them in the oven to 375u0b0F for 5-10 minutes or until they are golden brown. Keep aside.
  2. Chop all the vegetables and herbs and combine them in a large bowl.
  3. Add olive oil, salt, black pepper, sumac, lemon juice, garlic and pomegranate molasses,and mix them properly.
  4. Gently crush the toasted bread with your hands and add it to the salad. Mix again properly and adjust seasoning to taste.
  5. Serve the delicious fattoush salad on its own or as a side dish with grilled chicken, fish or meat. Enjoy this Delectable salad!!
