Ileen'S Chicken And Wild Rice Soup

  1. Wash rice with cold water; drain and cook in 2 cups water until tender (45 minutes).
  2. Saute celery, onion, green pepper, mushrooms and carrot in butter until tender.
  3. Add 1/2 cup flour and cook and stir 1 minute.
  4. Add broth and chicken.
  5. Bring to a boil and add rice, salt, pepper and Nature's Seasons.
  6. To serve, heat soup mix and stir in 1 cup half and half.
  7. Serve hot.
