Mars Bar Slice

  1. Pour water into the bottom of a double boiler - making sure that no water touches the bottom of the top part of the double boiler - and set on high heat until boiling..
  2. Place the butter into the double boiler and melt.
  3. Add the chopped-up Mars Bar pieces.
  4. Stir occasionally until the mixture melts as much as possible.
  5. Gradually mix in the Rice Krispies until the mixture is consistent.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a non-stick, 9" x 9" pan and spread evenly. No need to cool.
  7. Add the milk chocolate to the double boiler.
  8. Stir with a spoon until the chocolate is completely melted.
  9. Transfer the melted chocolate onto the base with a rubber spatula and spread evenly.
  10. Shake the pan from side-to-side to smooth the chocolate topping.
  11. Cool in the fridge for 60 minutes or until chocolate has set..
  12. Cut into bite-sized squares using a knife or dough scraper (recommended).
  13. Serve or store in an air-tight container.
