Mars Bar Slice
- 7 Mars Bars 53g chopped into small pieces, the smaller the better using a knife or dough scraper, recommended
- 2 1/16 cups milk chocolate broken up
- 3 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
- 2/3 cup butter
- Pour water into the bottom of a double boiler - making sure that no water touches the bottom of the top part of the double boiler - and set on high heat until boiling..
- Place the butter into the double boiler and melt.
- Add the chopped-up Mars Bar pieces.
- Stir occasionally until the mixture melts as much as possible.
- Gradually mix in the Rice Krispies until the mixture is consistent.
- Transfer the mixture to a non-stick, 9" x 9" pan and spread evenly. No need to cool.
- Add the milk chocolate to the double boiler.
- Stir with a spoon until the chocolate is completely melted.
- Transfer the melted chocolate onto the base with a rubber spatula and spread evenly.
- Shake the pan from side-to-side to smooth the chocolate topping.
- Cool in the fridge for 60 minutes or until chocolate has set..
- Cut into bite-sized squares using a knife or dough scraper (recommended).
- Serve or store in an air-tight container.
