Mexican Pizza
- 2 1/2 c. Bisquick
- 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. beef flavor instant bouillon
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans with sausage
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- chopped tomato, lettuce and ripe olives
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0.
- In medium bowl, combine Bisquick, cornmeal and water; mix well.
- With floured hands, pat dough up bottom and sides of greased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven.
- In skillet or microwave, brown meat with onion.
- Pour off grease.
- Stir in tomato sauce, bouillon and chili powder.
- Cook and stir until bouillon dissolves.
- Spread beans over baked crust.
- Spoon meat mixture over beans.
- Top with cheese; bake for 10 to 20 minutes, until heated through.
- Garnish with tomatoes, lettuce and olives.
