Crock-Pot Dressing
- 1 pan cornbread, crumbled
- 3 slices loaf bread, crumbled
- 4 or 5 crackers, crumbled
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 6 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
- 1 pkg. sausage with sage
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp. rosemary
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 3/4 tsp. red pepper (depending on how hot you want it)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 4 Tbsp. melted oleo
- Mix all of the ingredients together and put all in crock-pot. Cook about 4 to 6 hours.
- I start mine on high; after it's good and hot, I turn it down to low and let it cook.
- It can be cooked on high the entire time.
