Crunch Bars
- 1 stick (1/2 c.) butter or oleo
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
- 1 pt. Marshmallow Creme or 2 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
- Cream together butter or oleo, eggs, sugar and vanilla.
- Mix together flour, baking powder and cocoa.
- Add flour mixture to the egg mixture; mix well.
- Spread into greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and spoon over top of mixture:
- 1 pint of Marshmallow Creme or 2 cups miniature marshmallows; bake for 3 minutes more.
- Remove from oven.
- Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter.
- Stir in Rice Krispies.
- Spread over bars.
- Chill and cut into squares.
