Baked Ham With Pineapple And Orange Juice

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Place the ham in a pan together with the port wine, butter, half the orange juice, and cloves.
  3. Cover the pan, and cook over medium heat for about 25 minutes.
  4. Remove the ham from the pan, and place in a baking tray or pyrex.
  5. Save the sauce.
  6. Mix the egg yolk with the mustard, and brush it on the ham.
  7. Mix the remaining orange juice with the juice from the pineapple slices, and place the pineapple slices in this mixture. In a skillet, brown the pineapple slices in the butter.
  8. Garnish the ham with the pineapple slices using toothpicks.
  9. Bake the ham for 4 or 5 hours, depending on weight. Use a meat thermometer to check if ham is completely cooked.
