Orange Butter Coffee Cake

  1. Soften yeast in warm water, stir in 1/4 cup sugar, salt, eggs, sour cream and 6 tablespoons butter.
  2. Add flour to form stiff dough, beating well.
  3. Cover, let rise until double, about 2 hours. Combine 3/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup coconut and orange rind.
  4. Knead dough about 15 times, roll half of dough to 12-inch circle.
  5. Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with half of coconut mixture.
  6. Cut in 12 wedges.
  7. Roll up, starting with wide end.
  8. Place rolls, point side down, in 3 rows in 13 x 9-inch pan.
  9. Top with glaze, sprinkle with 1/4 cup coconut.
  10. Serve warm or cold.
