Mac&Cheese

  1. Preheat an oven to 200u0b0C and cook bacon rashers for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a pan of salted water to the boil. Cook the macaroni in the simmering water for 10 minutes until just cooked.
  3. Whilst the macaroni is cooking, grate the cheddar cheese into a bowl.
  4. Blitz the cooked and crispy bacon up to a crumb along with the parsley and a clove of garlic. (You can leave some of the bacon and cut it up yourself for different consistency).
  5. Drain the cooked pasta, return to the hot pan and stir in the grated cheese, creme fraiche and herby bacon crumb mixture.
  6. Spoon it all into an oven-proof dish and finish with a little more cheese. Bake for 10 minutes in the oven.
