Apple Breakfast Popover

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites, milk, flour, butter and salt until smooth.
  2. Pour into an 8 inch baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  4. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the apples, (I use Granny Smith) jelly, water and cinnamon.
  5. Heat over low heat until jelly is melted and mixture is heated through.
  6. Cut popover into quarters.
  7. Top each quarter with apple mixture and sprinkle confectionary sugar over the top.
