Better Than Cake

  1. Mix cake mix according to directions using milk instead of water.
  2. Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan according to directions.
  3. Boil sugar and pineapple, pour over hot cake.
  4. Let cool completely. Cream the cream cheese with mixer, slowly add the milk and pudding package.
  5. Spread over cake, let cool in refrigerator until pudding is set.
  6. Layer on cake the remaining ingredients starting with bananas, then Cool Whip, chopped nuts, coconut, then chopped cherries.
  7. Refrigerate for several hours.
