Double Chocolate Cookies With Ginger And Cayenne

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0F.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together well in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk wet ingredients together in a separate mixing bowl.
  4. Mix sugar and salt together in a small bowl and set aside until required.
  5. Lightly grease a parchment lined baking sheet with butter.
  6. Mix wet and dry ingredients together well.
  7. Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet.
  8. Flatten with the palm of your hand until about 3/8" thick.
  9. Sprinkle with sugar and salt mixture.
  10. Bake for 11 minutes.
  11. Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes before removing cookies to a cooling rack.
