Wheat Bread
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 4 or 4 1/2 c. white flour
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 c. honey
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. cottage cheese
- Mix wheat flour,
- salt,
- yeasttnd
- 1tup white flour together; set
- aside.
- Mixtogether
- margarine,
- water, milk, honey
- andtottage
- cheese.
- Heatthoroughly.
- When
- allts melted, blended
- together
- and
- lukewarm, remove from heat and stir in the
- flourtixture.
- Add just enough of the remaining white flour to
- make
- a firm but sticky dough.
- Place on board and knead in
- remaining flour.tlace in a greased bowl, cover and let rise until double in size (about 1 hour).
- Punch down. Divide into loaves
- (2tegular
- loaves
- or
- 3tmall loaves). Place in greased
- pans.
- Cover
- and let
- rise
- again (about 1 hour).
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
