Hayride Cookies

  1. Melt together over low heat 1 1/2 sticks margarine, vanilla, 2 tablespoons sugar, eggs and cocoa.
  2. Remove from heat; stir like custard.
  3. Add graham cracker crumbs and nuts.
  4. Press into bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
  5. Mix 6 tablespoons margarine, milk, pudding and 3 cups powdered sugar.
  6. Spread on crust layer.
  7. Chill.
  8. Melt chocolate chips with 1 1/2 tablespoons melted margarine.
  9. Spread as icing on top of pudding layer.
  10. Refrigerate until almost firm. Cut into squares.
  11. Refrigerate.
