White Chocolate Blondies
- 6 ounces white chocolate
- flour cups sifted
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter room temperature
- 1 cup dark brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans coarsely
- Lightly grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch glass baking pan.
- Cut the chocolate into small chunks.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla until smooth and blended, about 2 minutes.
- Stir in chocolate and nuts by hand.
- Pour into greased baking dish.
- Dough will be stiff.
- Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Cool.
