Cereal And Cookie Squares
- 7 ounces Maria Biscuits or shortbread biscuits
- 3 1/4 tablespoons sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/8 cups unsweetened chocolate
- 2 3/4 cups cereal chocolate
- cereal Chocolate, for topping
- Line a small pan with aluminum foil.
- Break the biscuits into pieces in the food processor. If you don't have a food processor, simply put the packet of biscuits in a bag, and hit the bag against the counter several times.
- In a bowl, beat the egg yolks well.
- In a saucepan, heat the sugar, butter, and chocolate. When the chocolate begins to melt, add the egg yolks, stirring constantly, until completely melted, and well mixed.
- Remove from heat, add biscuit pieces, and cereal. Mix well.
- Place the dough in the baking pan, and use a spoon to spread out evenly.
- Sprinkle chocolate cereal on top generously, use a spoon to lightly push the cereal into the dough.
- Refrigerate for a least 1 hour.
- Cut into squares, and serve.
