Strawberry Cheesecake Pretzel Dessert
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups crushed pretzels coarsely
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/3 cups boiling water
- 6 ounces strawberry flavored gelatin
- 1 1/3 cups ice cold water
- 1/2 cup Smucker's Natural Strawberry Fruit Spread
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 8 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed
- 1 1/2 cups strawberries sliced
- HEAT oven to 350u0b0F. Microwave butter in medium microwave-safe bowl on HIGH 1 minute or just until melted. Stir in pretzels and sugar until evenly moistened. Press into 13 x 9-inch baking dish to form a crust. Bake 8 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack.
- POUR boiling water over gelatin in medium bowl. Stir 2 minutes or until dissolved. Stir in fruit spread until melted. Stir in cold water. Chill 30 minutes or until partially thickened.
- Meanwhile, BEAT cream cheese and powdered sugar in medium bowl with mixer on high speed until smooth. Blend in whipped topping. Spread over crust. Chill.
- STIR strawberries into gelatin mixture. Pour over chilled cream cheese layer. Chill until firm.
