Almond Chocolate Cookies
- 7/8 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup flour
- 5 9/16 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 egg
- 4 3/4 tablespoons sugar
- 6 1/3 tablespoons butter
- salt
- vanilla extract
- 11/16 cup almonds
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Melt the chocolate chips over a double boiler.
- Place the flour and the cocoa on a work surface (or in a bowl), place the egg, sugar, butter, a pinch of salt, and a couple of drops of vanilla in the center.
- Combine the ingredients well into a dough with a uniform consistency.
- Add the chocolate and the almonds.
- Use a spoon to scoop out small round shapes (the shapes will be irregular) and place the cookies on a baking sheet which has been buttered and floured or lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 13 to 15 minutes.
