Oolong Tea Cookies
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon oolong tea ground
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- confectioner's sugar for rolling the dough
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl whip butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add 1 egg and vanilla. Stir in flour and oolong tea until a very soft and moist cookie dough forms.
- Pour about 1/2 cup of confectioner's sugar in a small bowl.
- Scoop out about a teaspoon amount of cookie dough and roll in confectioner's sugar. Place on prepared cookie sheets and flatten out with bottom of a glass.
- Bake for about 8 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Transfer cookies to a cooling rack.
- Serve with your favorite tea and enjoy!
