Korean Beef Strips

  1. Brown the sesame seed lightly over low heat; set aside.
  2. Slice the steak on the diagonal in very thin slices.
  3. Score each slice with an X.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients; mix well.
  5. Pour over steak slices.
  6. Let stand 30 minutes.
  7. Drain meat; reserve marinade.
  8. Broil steak slices as near source of heat as possible for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  9. Turn and sprinkle with sesame seed. Broil 30 seconds longer.
  10. Serve with rice and reserved marinade. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
  11. Can be easily reduced to half a recipe.
