No-Bake Halloween Chocolate Clusters

  1. Line a small sheet pan with waxed paper.
  2. Coarsely chop walnuts and apricots.
  3. On the prepared pan, divide walnuts, apricots, and almonds into 12 compact and separate piles.
  4. Chop chocolate, then place into a microwave-safe bowl.
  5. Microwave chocolate for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until chocolate is just melted, about 1 1/2 minutes total.
  6. Stop microwaving when you have a few bits of unmelted chocolate so you don't overheat it.
  7. With a teaspoon, drizzle melted chocolate onto clusters to "glue" nuts and fruit together. Top warm chocolate with pumpkin seeds, and add a pinch of salt if you like.
  8. Shelled pumpkin seeds are often called pepitas.
  9. Freeze pan of clusters until chocolate is set, about 20 minutes.
  10. Serve clusters, or wrap each one in a square of waxed paper and store airtight in the refrigerator up to 5 days.
