Breakfast Casserole
- 12 ounces breakfast sausage links Johnsonville
- 6 English muffins cut into 1in. cubes
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 40z.
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup red pepper chopped
- 12 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup bacon bits optional
- Cook sausage according to package directions. Cool slightly; cut into 1/4in. slices.
- Place English muffin cubes in a greased 13 x 9 baking dish & drizzle with butter.
- Layer with sausage, cheese, onion, & red pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, & pepper. Pour over cheese. Sprinkle with bacon.
- Cover & refrigerate overnight.
- Remove from refigerator 30min. prior to baking. Uncover & bake at 350 degrees for 45-50min. or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
- Let stand for 5min. before serving
