Hakka Noodles
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 green onions /chives finely chopped
- 1/2 head cabbage chopped
- 3 carrots cut into strips
- 1 handful green beans chopped up
- 2 sticks celery finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper chopped
- 1 green chilli chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons chilli sauce Siracha or Tabasco sauce works
- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- salt
- pepper
- 1/2 box whole wheat spaghetti 1/3 cooked and drained, set aside
- 1) In a large wok with 2 tablespoons of oil add the minced garlic and fry it
- 2) After the garlic browns add the green onions and fry it till it softens
- 3) Then add the green peppers, beans, celery, cabbage, carrots, green chillis and the rest of green onions
- 4) Once the vegetables soften, add 2 table spoons of soy sauce
- 5) Add 2 tablespoons of red chilli sauce, add 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup and mix it well
- 6) Then add the drained pasta to the wok and mix it. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
- 7) Enjoy! You can reduce the amount of sauces or chilli depending on your taste!
