Plum Chutney

  1. Heat oil in a nonstick sauce pan.
  2. Add cumin seeds and fennel seeds.
  3. When the seeds start to flutter add sage leaves.
  4. Immediately add chopped plums.
  5. Mix well and cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add sugar and mix well with a spatula. Again cover and cook for until the plums leaves its water.
  7. Add the salt, black salt and cayenne pepper and mix well.
  8. Cover and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  9. Turn off the flame and let it cool for a while.
  10. Grind the chutney coarsely in a grinder/food processor.
  11. Serve at room temperature with your favorite snacks.
