Apple Cheese Bread

  1. Cream butter with sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition.
  3. Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and ginger together.
  4. Add 1/3 of dry ingredients to egg mixture; stir in apples, cheese and pecans.
  5. Add remaining dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  6. Pour batter into well-buttered 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
  8. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove and cool on wire rack.
  9. Serve warm or cold.
