Almond Milk

  1. Soak almonds overnight in a bowl 8-10 hours. Almonds should be covered with a couple inches of water.
  2. Drain and rinse almonds.
  3. Place rinsed almonds into a blender along with filtered water and dates.
  4. Blend on high for 1 minute.
  5. Use a nut milk bag over a large bowl and slowly pour the almond milk mixture into the bag, gently squeezing the bottom of the bag. This will take a few minutes. You may not get the entire mix in the bag depending on what size your bag is. If you bag is small fill the bag half way, drain and repeat until you have used everything in the blender.
  6. Rinse out your blender and pour your milk that is in the bowl back in.
  7. Add your vanilla extract and cinnamon.
  8. Pour into glass jar to store for 4-5 days. Make sure you shake the jar well before using because as it sits it will separate.
