Pizzelles With A Sweet Filling

  1. Combine the eggs, oil, flour, sugar, and grated lemon peel; the mixture should be neither too soft nor too firm. If the mixture is too firm, add a few tablespoons of milk.
  2. Place a spoonful of batter in the pizzelle maker. Repeat this procedure until the batter has been completely used.
  3. Combine the jam, rum, a handful of hazelnuts or almonds, cookies, cocoa, and coffee.
  4. Spread a generous amount of filling on one pizzelle and top it with another pizzelle. Repeat this procedure with all the pizzelles and serve.
