Pizzelle

  1. Add the sifted flour, baking powder and cinnamon to a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl beat 6 eggs
  3. Add the oil, liqueur, anise and vanilla extract and beat to incorporate the ingredients.
  4. Add the wet ingredients, into the dry ingredients, and beat to blend.
  5. You should obtain a silky and thick sticky dough.
  6. Grease and pre-heat an electric pizzelle iron
  7. Drop a tablespoon of of the dough on the griddle.
  8. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes depending on your appliance.
  9. Remove with a spatula. .
