Cheddar Cheese Popovers
- 3 tablespoons Crystal Farms Butter unsalted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups whole milk
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 tablespoons Crystal Farms Butter unsalted, melted
- 3 ounces Crystal Farms Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0 F.
- Grease a muffin pan with 3 tablespoons of butter.
- Heat milk to 125 u0b0F and reserve.
- In a mixing bowl, beat eggs for 2 minutes or until the yolks and whites are thoroughly mixed. Add milk and continue to mix.
- Add flour and salt to the egg mixture and gently mix until combined. Do not over mix; it is okay to have lumps in the batter.
- Add 3 tablespoons of melted butter to the batter and incorporate.
- Add 2 ounces of batter to each muffin slot. Add 1/2 ounce of shredded Cheddar cheese to each battered tin. Top each muffin tin with 2 ounces of batter and bake for 40-45 minutes.
