Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x9-baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the butter and eggs in a stand up mixer with a paddle attachment. Add the eggs one at a time and then the vanilla.
  3. Sift the flours, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt over the egg and butter mixture. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Next add in the heavy cream. The batter should be between the consistency of cake batter and cookie dough.
  4. Spread the brownie batter into the parchment lined pan. Bake approximately 19-22 min, until a cake tester comes out clean. Let cool then sift some confectioners sugar on top if desired.
