Pork And Beans Chili
- 1 cup rice
- 1 dash turmeric
- 4 tomatoes mediums, - chopped
- 1 jalapeno medium, - chopped with seeds
- 1 onion medium, - chopped
- 2 stalks celery - chopped
- 2 carrots - chopped
- 3 cloves garlic crushed & chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 28 cans baked beans with bacon and brown sugar
- 1 cup chicken broth
- olive oil
- In a medium sauce pan drizzle about 2 tablespoons olive oil and add onion, carrot, tomato, garlic, celery and jalapeno and saute until the onion turns clear.
- Add the chicken broth and continue to simmer on low for about 5 minutes. Add the spices and continue to simmer on low.
- Add the Baked Beans and once again continue to simmer on low.
- Prepare the rice - add a dash of turmeric to the water to give the rice a golden color.
